About the Author

Hannah Carroll has worked on the Spike Cartoons webcomic since February 2008. She first became interested in comics when she was a little girl, and drew a little comic strip for her parents called Why Not. In early 2008, she discovered two webcomics, Subculture of One and the Devil’s Panties. She drew two characters in her diary as an experiment. Her parents got her the website URL SpikeCartoons.com shortly afterward. That continues to be her biggest project. In 2005, she won an award for Best Fiend in the 11-year-old category of the Making Fiends Art Contest. She is currently a home-schooled high-schooler living in the state of North Carolina.
